Sometimes when you’re starting projects with an adjustable (or magic) loop, you’ll find it keeps opening up.  This is really annoying.  It usually only happens with particularly slippery yarns or when you’ve got a lot of single chains in the starting loop forcing it open.  Here then is a double loop method for your starting circle.  It’s really secure and once you get the hang of it – dead easy.  I use it for starting most my projects now.  There’s plenty of youtube videos on the subject but I always find pictures easier to understand so here ya go.
